Olde days

I was thinking back to the early seventies when I had nothing but the clothes on my back and news papers stuck I’m my clothes to keep warm. It was late at night and I was resting under Charing Cross Bridge in London. I sat next to a guy and asked him what he was doing there. Oh he said I have no where to go and no job. I said you can’t be that bad off he was dressed very well better clothes then I even thought I could have. Well he said I have been looking for a job here in London as a lawyer, but it’s hard to get into a firm. WTF you are an educated man. After a few minutes two rather well dressed men came out of the fish and chip shop. I thought lucky buggers having fish an chips after being in the pub. All of a sudden they came over to us the lawyer dude and my self. I was a bit worried of there intensions , they asked have you eaten? We both replied no was ages since we had any grub! the two guys give us an unopened bag of fish an chips each and said have a good evening and don’t give up. Wow we were so hungry we thanked the two gentlemen as they walked away without any fish an chips. We looked at each other and the lawyer dude said one day we will do this for others in the same boat. I agreed we will. I have done this several times to show appreciation for the two gentlemen that gave us hope. My life Mick “Lazydog “ Roberts.
